I haven’t posted very much recently due to other priorities. I don’t know if you are aware, but in addition to this business, I work full time and I am also pursuing my bachelor’s degree in information technology management. In addition, I have been working on other streams of income for Girded with Strength Fitness. I have expanded my clothing selection as seen in the store http://girdedwithstrengthfitness.com and have also started working on affiliate marketing with Amazon.

This season has required a lot of balance and intentionality. Between work, school, and building this ministry-driven business, my days are very full. Some days feel smooth and productive, while others feel stretched thin—but I truly believe God uses seasons like this to refine us. I’m learning to steward my time, energy, and health more carefully, and to give myself grace when everything doesn’t move as quickly as I would like.

I now teach 4 classes a week. My 8 AM Wednesday class is Move in Faith, based on the SilverSneakers Classic format. The 9 AM Wednesday class is Rooted and Grounded, based on the SilverSneakers Stability format. On Saturday, I have a 9 AM Move in Faith class, followed by a 10 AM Rise in Strength Cardio and Strength training class. The Rise in Strength class is a more advanced class, and we have more variety in activities. In accordance with the Six Pillars of Fitness that Girded with Strength Fitness is built on, we may be working on strength one class period, and agility for another.

Teaching these classes has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Even with a small class size right now, the impact has been meaningful. Watching participants grow stronger, move with more confidence, and experience less pain over time is incredibly encouraging. These women come in dealing with stiffness, balance challenges, or fear of movement—and week by week, they are proving to themselves that they are capable of more than they realized.

All class sessions begin with a short Bible teaching and prayer.

This is something I will never compromise on. Girded with Strength Fitness is not just about physical health—it is about honoring God with our bodies, renewing our minds, and building strength that carries over into everyday life. The time spent in Scripture and prayer helps set the tone for the workout and reminds us that our strength ultimately comes from the Lord.

As I continue moving forward, my focus remains on building this business in a way that is sustainable, Christ-centered, and rooted in service. I accept SilverSneakers, and for those who are able, classes are typically around $10 per session. However, finances should never be a barrier to movement or community—if someone wants to come but cannot pay, I still want them there. Everyone is encouraged to start where they are, and classes are designed to be flexible, allowing participants to modify movements and avoid overworking their bodies. I appreciate the patience and support from those who have followed along, attended classes, shared posts, or encouraged me behind the scenes. Even when things feel quiet online, there is a lot happening—and I’m excited to continue sharing what God is doing through Girded with Strength Fitness.

If you want more information about attending the classes, you can contact me at info@girdedwithstrengthfitness.com. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. I’m hoping to get my YouTube channel up and running by spring, so I will keep you updated on that.
